A Sterling Silver and Carnelian Agate Pendant on Snake Link Chain - This lot comprises a large oval pendant suspended from a silver snake-link chain. The pendant features a polished carnelian agate stone, characterised by concentric banding in shades of orange, red, and translucent cream. The stone is set within a decorative sterling silver mount at the top, featuring scrolled wirework, granulation, and a central fleur-de-lis motif. A small round cabochon light blue stone, possibly moonstone or chalcedony, is set within the silverwork. The pendant is fitted with a wide, fixed bail. The accompanying silver snake-link chain is finished with a shepherd's hook-style clasp. The reverse of the pendant mount is stamped 925. No hallmarks are visible on the chain.
