A Vintage The Georgian Sealing Set Wax Sealing Kit - A commercial wax sealing set titled The Georgian Sealing Set, presented in its original fitted case. The set comprises a spirit lamp featuring a polished metal circular base and a glass fuel reservoir, a metal melting spoon with a pouring lip and a turned wooden handle, and a metal desk seal with a plain handle and an unexamined matrix. The kit is supplied with a quantity of dark purple or black sealing wax beads and several larger wax fragments. The interior lid is lined with green silk and gold-stamped with the text THE GEORGIAN SEALING SET, alongside smaller text including PATENT and SILKOTY. The set is of United Kingdom origin, dating to the early 20th century.
