Vintage Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons Enamelled Car Badge - A vintage mid-20th century car radiator or grille badge for the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons. The badge is constructed from chrome-plated base metal featuring a shield design divided by a red enamelled cross of St. George. The four white enamelled quadrants contain relief-moulded symbols associated with veterinary medicine: a horse's head in the upper left, a caduceus in the upper right, a horseshoe in the lower left, and a bull's head in the lower right. A scroll at the base of the shield bears the embossed inscription ROYAL COLLEGE OF VETERINARY SURGEONS in capital letters. The badge features an integral mounting tab at the bottom with two circular apertures for attachment to a vehicle's badge bar or grille. The reverse of the badge is plain and unpolished.
