Two Vintage Metal Novelty Pincushions in the Forms of a Shoe and a Swan - This lot comprises two figural pincushions of varying materials and designs. The first item is a pincushion in the form of a ladies high-heeled lace-up shoe, constructed from cast white metal. The design features moulded details including stitching, eyelets, and a textured sole, and is fitted with a black string lace. It contains a dark-toned fabric cushion. The second item is a pincushion in the form of a swan, constructed from cast brass. The swan has a polished finish and is fitted with a purple velvet cushion. No maker marks or inscriptions are visible on the underside of either piece. These items are characteristic of 20th-century novelty domestic metalware.
