The rectangular bar-form object is a hollow-cast vessel featuring three internal compartments, including a circular fluted well. The top face is stamped with the serial number 268647 and the number 996. The interior of the circular compartment is marked with the characters Ges. gesch. and WEST-GERMANY. The accompanying collection includes circular silver-coloured tokens, each with a central hole, embossed with the numeral 5 and the text NATIONAL TRANSPORT TOKEN. These tokens are identified as Garden State Parkway tokens.
