An H. Samuel Brass Corniche-Cased Carriage Clock - A brass-cased carriage clock retailed by the British jeweller H. Samuel. The item features a corniche-style polished brass case with five bevelled glass panels and a hinged carrying handle. The white enamel dial is inscribed with black Roman numeral hour markers and an outer track with Arabic numerals at five-minute intervals. The hands are finished in black, with a moon-style tip to the hour hand. The mechanical timepiece movement is equipped with a platform lever escapement visible through the top glass aperture. The rear plate of the movement features a regulation lever marked S and F. The clock is accompanied by a double-ended brass winding and setting key, which is stamped with the number 6.
