Mid-20th Century Leather-Cased Public Service Vehicle PSV Driver or Conductor Badge Number GG 30200 - A vintage Public Service Vehicle (PSV) personnel identification badge, as issued to bus or coach drivers and conductors in the United Kingdom. The badge consists of a circular printed insert contained within a black leather holder. The holder features a teardrop-shaped upper section with a stitched buttonhole designed for attachment to a uniform lapel. The central circular window shows a white insert with a red-coloured top arc printed with the words PUBLIC SERVICE. Beneath this are the characters GG and the serial number 30200 printed in black. The reverse of the badge features a metal press stud and a central brass-toned crescent-shaped mounting clip.
