Two Black Bowler Hats including a G. A. Dunn & Co. Ltd. Example - This lot comprises two black bowler hats of varying sizes and construction quality. The larger hat is a traditional fur felt bowler by the London-based firm G. A. Dunn & Co. Ltd. The interior features a white pleated silk-effect lining with a printed label for G. A. Dunn & Co Ltd, Piccadilly Circus, 373-375 Strand, 122 Shaftesbury Ave, London. The tan leather sweatband is embossed with the maker's name and MADE IN ENGLAND. It is finished with a matching black grosgrain ribbon band and a bound brim edge. The smaller hat is made from stiffened black felt with a satin-effect ribbon band. This hat is unlined and does not contain a leather sweatband. Large hat length: 31 cm Small hat length: 27 cm.
