Antique Bonneted Miner's Safety Lamp with Serial Number 1032 - An antique bonneted miner's safety lamp, likely of the Marsaut or Clanny type. The lamp features a tall, cylindrical steel bonnet with a series of vertical ventilation slots at the upper rim and is topped with a heavy-gauge wire swivel hanging hook. The lower section consists of a thick glass chimney protected by five brass support pillars. The base is constructed from brass and includes a flat-wick burner assembly and a side-mounted locking hasp designed for a lead seal or small padlock.
