A Collection of Chinese Export Style Calligraphy and Desktop Items Including a Wooden Jewellery Chest - A collection of Chinese export-style desktop and calligraphy items, likely dating to the late 20th century. The group features a small dark wood jewellery chest with brass corner mounts, a front latch, and a hinged lid, the interior lined with red patterned silk and divided into multiple compartments. A teal silk-covered presentation box contains three calligraphy brushes with black handles and tapered white hair tips. A long yellow-gold silk-covered box houses a rolled scroll. A small red silk-covered box contains a carved light green stone seal, possibly soapstone, topped with a shishi or lion-dog finial, alongside a small blue and white porcelain paste pot decorated with an underglaze dragon. The interior lid of the seal box contains a paper label printed with the name LESLEY and the transliterated Chinese characters 莱斯利 (Lai si li).
