An Assortment of Vintage Technical Measuring and Drafting Instruments including British Thornton and Polmax - An assortment of 20th-century draughtsman’s and engineer’s tools. The collection includes a British Thornton Mark Two slide rule in its original black cardboard box, with a label listing models AD 050, AD 060, AD 150, and AD 160. A stainless steel dial caliper is included, marked STAINLESS HARDENED on the lower beam and contained within a black textured case bearing a lot label numbered 140. The lot features a solid brass spirit level engraved with the text WARRANTED CORRECT. Several folding rules are present, including a yellow-coated example marked POLMAX and multiple boxwood and brass rules in the style of Stanley or Rabone. Other items include a yellow plastic slide rule marked UNIQUE, a slide rule in a brown stitched leather protective sleeve, and various wooden and plastic scales, rulers, and a blue plastic straightedge.
