The structure comprises a stepped base, four fluted columns, and a pediment-style top with a central curved cutout. The circular clock movement is suspended within a clear panel. The dial features a white chapter ring with black Roman numerals and a central gold-tone disc, signed UTI to the centre. The reverse displays a circular brass-cased movement with two winding keys, a speed regulator marked with symbols for plus and minus, and an alarm setting knob.
