French Boulangere Style Ceramic 24-Hour Hanging Wall Clock Signed Nilsen - A French Boulangere style ceramic hanging wall clock of bulbous circular form, suspended by a black metal link chain. The earthenware case features a cream glaze hand-painted with polychrome floral sprays including roses and bluebells, accented by a lavender border around the dial and moulded relief scrolls to the sides. The front of the ceramic body bears a hand-painted signature reading Nilsen near the lower-left edge. The dial is set with two purple-painted steel hands and features a dual-hour track comprising an outer ring of black Roman numerals I-XII and an inner ring of Arabic numerals 13-24. The reverse reveals a brass mechanical movement mounted in a wooden frame. The movement features a regulator bridge marked with the letters S, F, R, and A, alongside a stamped maker's mark consisting of an interlaced monogram. Diameter: 24 cm Total width: 28 cm.
