A Pair of West German Clockwork Tinplate Lithograph Transport Toys by Michael Seidel and Technofix - This lot comprises two mid-20th century mechanical toys produced in the Nuremberg region of West Germany. The first item is a transport toy by Michael Seidel, featuring a lithographed landscape base with circular tracks, a central garden tunnel, and two terminal stations with chequered roofs. The toy includes several small tin vehicles such as buses and cars. The manufacturer mark, featuring the letters M and S intertwined within a circle, is located on the front vertical panel. The second item is a train set by Technofix (Gebrüder Einfalt), designed with a figure-eight track layout on a cream and green base. It includes a central station tunnel and two flanking stations with clock tower details. A multi-part articulated express train is present on the track. The Technofix logo, showing a circle with a horizontal line and stylized GE symbol, is visible on the track surface. Both toys are made from lithographed tinplate and contain internal clockwork mechanisms with external winding spindles and start/stop levers. Approximate length (Michael Seidel toy): 23 cm.
