Bidspirit auction | Two Vintage British Nickel-Plated Whistles

Two Vintage British Nickel-Plated Whistles including The Metropolitan and The Acme Thunderer - Two vintage British metal whistles. The first is a tubular pattern whistle stamped METROPOLITAN and W.M.H. This cylindrical whistle features a bulbous top with an integral suspension loop and a flared mouthpiece. The second is a snail-pattern whistle stamped THE ACME THUNDERER and MADE IN ENGLAND. It contains a visible internal cork pea and is fitted with a suspension ring. Both items are manufactured from nickel-plated brass, presenting a white metal finish. These patterns were historically produced by J. Hudson and Co. of Birmingham.
