A Collection of Commemorative Medals, Decorative Trinket Boxes, and Personal Accessories - This lot comprises a collection of commemorative medals, decorative items, and personal accessories. Included is a large circular silver-tone presentation medal dated 2004, inscribed on the reverse Presented to Jack Goldhill, featuring a central rounded triangular motif with the letters A, R, F, and S, suspended from a wide red ribbon. Two square white-metal plaques are attached to red and white striped ribbons, bearing the German inscription Verband der Querschnittgelähmten Deutschlands. A bronze-tone commemorative medal is housed in a red presentation box marked for Alex Kirkwood and Son, Medallists, Edinburgh. The decorative items include a group of cloisonné and enamel miniatures comprising a large snail with scrollwork decoration and two tortoises, alongside a heart-shaped blue cloisonné trinket box with floral motifs. There are multiple lidded trinket boxes, including a green enamel egg with gold-tone filigree and inset faux stones in the Fabergé style, and two white porcelain examples with gold-tone rims.
