Garrard and Co London Brass Cased Carriage Clock - An English brass-cased carriage clock produced for Garrard and Co, the crown jewellers. The rectangular case follows a classic corniche design, featuring polished brass frames and five bevelled glass panels. The top panel contains a viewing aperture that reveals the mechanical 11-jewel platform lever escapement. The clock is fitted with a swinging rectangular handle with a knurled central grip. The white dial is set with a black Roman numeral chapter ring and an outer minute track, with black-finished poire style hands. The dial is printed Garrard and Co London W1 and Made in England. The rear movement plate is engraved Made in England and 11 Jewels, alongside a regulation scale marked S and F for slow and fast.
