The collection includes a large rectangular pewter box featuring a high-relief tavern scene with multiple figures on the front panel and a dark aged patina. A heavy cast brass or bronze desk box is included, featuring a hinged lid and a characteristic U-shaped cutout to the front, possibly for stationery or cards, showing a deep brown patina and interior verdigris. Bone-clad items comprise a large rectangular box with ornate pierced brass bands and scrollwork hinges, alongside a smaller chest-form box with brass fittings. Metal containers include a heart-shaped silver-toned box, a rectangular brass box with engraved foliate scrollwork, a silver-toned rectangular box with a basketweave pattern, and a silver-toned cigarette case.
