A Large Collection of Vintage Costume Jewellery Contained Within Two Period Jewellery Boxes - A substantial collection of assorted costume jewellery dating primarily from the mid-to-late 20th century, presented within two vintage jewellery boxes. The first container is a rectangular red faux-leather jewellery box featuring a gold-tone metal latch and a black velvet-lined interior with a lift-out tray. The second, larger box is constructed from cream textured vinyl with printed scrolled border patterns, containing multiple tiers including a top tray, a main compartment, and a lower pull-out drawer lined with red fabric and white satin. The contents comprise a diverse range of items including multi-strand beaded necklaces in pink, black, and white tones, chunky silver-tone charm bracelets, gold-tone link chains, and wire-style necklaces. Materials identified include glass beads, plastic, faux pearls, faux coral, rhinestones, faceted crystals, and enamel. Specific pieces visible include a large faux-pearl necklace in a plastic bag, various pairs of pearl-effect and gold-tone stud earrings, rings, bangles, a green glass and enamel brooch, and a decorative purple metal ornament. No maker marks or hallmarks were observed on the jewellery or the boxes during inspection.
