Large Jurassic Ammonite Fossil Specimen - A fossil ammonite specimen of substantial size, possibly from the Perisphinctidae family. The specimen exhibits a planispiral form with clear ribbing along the outer whorls. The central umbilicus on the obverse is filled with a textured, mineralised matrix, showing crystalline structures formed during fossilisation. The reverse side is partially prepared, retaining elements of the original geological matrix and displaying a naturally weathered appearance. The colouration ranges from light tan to darker earthy tones. Diameter: Approximately 16 cm.
