British Museum. Reproductions of Prints in the British Museum, Third Series, Part VI. Trustees, 1912. - This large-format folio portfolio is titled Reproductions of Prints in the British Museum, Third Series, Part VI: Specimens of Etching by Rembrandt, Livens, and Bol 1630-1680. Published by order of the Trustees in 1912, the work comprises a collection of monochrome reproductions of etchings by Rembrandt van Rijn, Jan Lievens, and Ferdinand Bol. The portfolio is quarter-bound in dark blue cloth with grey paper-covered boards and matching cloth corners, secured with green fabric ties. Internally, the reproductions are individually mounted on heavy cream-coloured card stock. The title page includes a central woodcut-style vignette depicting three putti. Height: 48 cm.
