A Collection of Vintage and Antique Manual Kitchenalia Including Coffee Grinders and a Rotary Grater - This collection consists of several vintage and antique manual kitchen tools, primarily featuring five box-style grinders and one rotary drum grater. The central piece is a large, dark-stained wooden coffee mill with an open metal bowl hopper. It features a central oval metal badge embossed with a shield containing the letters H. G. E. and the inscription GARANTIERT GESCHMIEDETES MAHLWERK, identifying the manufacturer of the forged milling mechanism as being of German origin. Adjacent to this is a large box coffee grinder with a dark-stained wooden body and a domed metal top with a sliding hopper door, fitted with a crank handle and a turned wooden knob. Another box-style grinder features white enamelled or ceramic side panels set within a wooden frame and topped with a metal hopper. A smaller mill in light-coloured wood features an external cast-iron gear mechanism on top and a decorative metal plaque on the front embossed with the word PEPPER. To the front left is a polished hardwood mill with an exposed metal gear assembly and a small wooden handle. The foreground contains a mid-20th-century rotary drum grater with a cream-painted metal body, a wooden handle, and a screw-clamp base for attachment to a table or counter. Construction materials across the lot include various hardwoods, cast iron, steel, brass, and enamel. A wooden folding rule is present in the background for scale purposes.
