A Vintage Painted Cast Iron Reclining Cow Doorstop - Attributed to Homco, this vintage cast iron figurine depicts a reclining cow, likely intended for use as a doorstop or decorative ornament. The figure is realistically modelled in a resting pose with its legs tucked beneath its body. The piece features a two-part hollow construction, joined by a central internal threaded bolt visible on the underside. It is hand-painted in a black and white spotted pattern typical of a Holstein or Friesian breed, with pink tones to the muzzle and blue-grey horns. The exterior surface is textured to simulate hide.
