English Deco Horse and Cart Planter - A mid-20th-century decorative figurine of a heavy draft horse and cart, manufactured in England. The horse is finished with a copper-tone iridescent lustre glaze, while the two-wheeled cart is composed of matte cream-coloured ceramic. The piece includes black-painted metal shafts, harness components, and spoked wheels. The underside of the cart body is embossed with the marks DECO, ENGLAND, the number 3, and the phrase REG DES APP FOR. The interior of the cart indicates historical use as a planter.
