Two Vintage Mechanical Office Items comprising an Addimat Adding Machine and a Hema Pencil Sharpener - This lot comprises two vintage mechanical office instruments of European manufacture. The first item is an Addimat stylus-operated mechanical adding machine. It features a light green painted metal housing with seven vertical columns. Each column contains a numeric slide with digits 1 through 9, finished in alternating cream and grey. A red reset lever is positioned at the top left. The faceplate is marked with the brand name addimat in a stylized lowercase font and the words adding machine. The second item is a Hema rotary pencil sharpener, identified on the original packaging as a Bleistiftspitzautomat. The body is constructed from mottled dark brown Bakelite or a similar phenolic resin, featuring an embossed Hema script logo on the top surface. It has a chrome-plated front assembly with a spring-loaded gripping mechanism and two release levers. The metal crank handle is fitted with a textured black plastic grip.
