FR Médaille d'honneur du travail Ministry of Labour and Social Security Silver-Toned Medal 1951 - A French Médaille d'honneur du travail (Labour Honour Medal) struck in silver-toned metal and suspended from a tricolour red, white, and blue ribbon. The obverse features a right-facing profile bust of Marianne, the national personification of the French Republic, with the surrounding inscription REPUBLIQUE FRANÇAISE. The reverse bears the circular inscription MINISTERE DU TRAVAIL ET DE LA SECURITE SOCIALE. The central field contains a raised rectangular cartouche engraved with the recipient's name C. KERDILES and the date 1951, set against a background of laurel branches and a caduceus.
