The first is a professional-grade lensatic prismatic sighting compass housed in a heavy-duty die-cast metal casing with an olive drab green finish. It features a hinged lid with a glass viewing window and sighting wire, a liquid-damped rotating dial marked with both 0-360 degree and 0-6400 mil scales, and a magnifying prism for reading bearings while sighting. The unit includes an integrated spirit level bubble at the base of the dial and a thumb loop for stabilization.
