Vintage Acupuncture Anatomical Model, Made in China - A vintage male anatomical acupuncture model, likely dating from the mid-to-late 20th century. The figure is constructed from a cream-coloured moulded plastic and is fixed to an integral base. The model is divided sagittally to present two different anatomical views. The anatomical left side shows the surface skin, which is marked with standard international acupuncture meridian lines and points, labelled with black and red alphanumeric codes such as DU, BL, RN, ST, and PC. The anatomical right side features a cutaway view of the skeletal structure and superficial muscles, with highlights hand-painted in red and blue. The front of the base is embossed with the mark MADE IN CHINA. Height: 28 cm (11 inches).
