A Trio of E. Radford Hand-Painted Ceramic Condiment Pieces - A three-piece ceramic condiment set manufactured by E. Radford in Staffordshire, England, likely dating from the 1930s or 1940s. The set consists of a salt shaker, a pepper shaker, and a lidded mustard pot. Each item is constructed from glazed earthenware with a pale cream ground and features a distinctive Art Deco-influenced form with a rectangular cross-section and concave, pillar-like corners. The pieces are decorated with a hand-painted stylized floral pattern comprising blue and red flower heads on green leafy stems. The tops of the vessels and their respective finials are finished in a darker ochre-coloured glaze with dark-lined rim detailing. The decoration is applied to the front faces, with the reverse sides left plain. The base of the central mustard pot bears a green printed backstamp with the text HANDPAINTED RADFORD ENGLAND.
