Large Staffordshire Style Ceramic Spaniel Figurine with Copper Lustre - A large ceramic seated spaniel figurine, produced in the Staffordshire style. The earthenware figure is finished in a white glaze, decorated with hand-painted copper lustre patches to the ears, body, and tail. It features a moulded collar and locket, with a lustre-painted chain draped across the chest. The face is detailed with yellow and black painted eyes and a black nose. The underside of the base features a circular firing hole and two hand-painted tally marks in black and reddish-pink. There are no manufacturer backstamps or model numbers present. Height: Approximately 32 cm.
