A Collection of Vintage Medical Diagnostic Instruments Including English and German Otoscopy and Sphygmomanometer Sets - This collection of vintage medical diagnostic equipment comprises several separate sets and additional components. The first set is an English otoscope diagnostic set, resembling the work of Gowllands, featuring a chrome-plated, knurled metal battery handle and three interchangeable chrome-plated specula of varying sizes. It is housed in a black pebbled-effect hardshell case with the word OTOSCOPE embossed on the lid in gilt lettering and a purple velvet and satin-lined interior; the interior is marked MADE IN ENGLAND. The second set is a German blood pressure monitoring kit, containing an aneroid sphygmomanometer with a white dial face calibrated from 0 to 300 mmHg, an inflation bulb with a chrome-plated valve, and a binaural stethoscope with grey tubing. These are contained in a black zippered leatherette pouch embossed with a shield-shaped logo containing a V and the word Germany, attributed to Visomat. The third set is a diagnostic set, attributed to Boehm, featuring a black-finished battery handle and four chrome-plated specula, housed in a black hardshell case with a blue velvet-lined interior. Additional items include three loose optical parts: a brass-mounted lens assembly, a black circular lens component, and a small black plastic protective canister. Measurements: Individual cases range from approximately 17.8 cm to 27.9 cm (7 inches to 11 inches) in length.
