A Trio of Cased Desk Sets comprising Magnifying Glasses and Letter Openers - An assortment of three decorative desk sets. The first component is a large handheld magnifying glass featuring a gold-tone metal handle with a knurled grip pattern. It is housed in its original white cardboard presentation box with a red velvet-effect interior, the lid of which is printed with the text Quality Solid Lens. The second component is a miniature set comprising a small magnifying glass and a matching letter opener, both featuring silver-tone decorative turned handles and housed in a black velvet-lined folding case. The third component is a large executive set featuring a magnifying glass and a letter opener with spiral-carved dark wooden handles and brass-tone metal fittings. This set is presented in a bespoke upright wooden display case clad in embossed metal featuring a repeating floral and foliate motif, fitted with a glass-paned door and elasticated internal retaining straps. No maker's marks are visible on the instruments or cases. Large metal-clad case height: 28 cm.
