A Vintage Hero Diatonic Button Accordion - A vintage small-scale diatonic button accordion manufactured by Hero in Shanghai, China. The instrument features a black pearloid celluloid finished body equipped with seven gold-toned metal melody levers and three white plastic bass buttons. The bellows are constructed from patterned paper and card in a combination of green, red, and blue. Markings on the front panel include the brand name Hero in script, a small oval logo containing the word ACCORDION, and the Chinese characters 英雄. Further text to the right reads MADE IN SHANGHAI, CHINA with the characters 中國上海 positioned above. A black hand strap is attached to the side of the casing. The item is accompanied by a portion of a plain cardboard box, possibly the original packaging. Height: approximately 19 cm.
