A Pair of Contemporary Patinated Bronze Labrador Sculptures - A pair of contemporary cast sculptures with a dark chocolate brown patinated bronze finish, depicting two Labradors. One figure is modelled in a dynamic, inquisitive stance atop an integral rocky-outcrop base. The larger companion piece is shown seated, looking upwards with a lead held in its mouth. Both works feature a heavily textured, impressionistic surface treatment characteristic of the modern animalier style. No signatures, foundry marks, or edition numbers are clearly visible on the exterior of the pieces in the provided images, however the forms are highly consistent with designs attributed to the artist Dean Kendrick for Richard Cooper Bronze.
