The heavy crystal case features a rounded, arched silhouette with deep wedge and diamond-cut designs throughout. The sides include faceted projections, and the piece is supported by a stepped, horizontally-fluted base. The circular white dial is set within a gold-tone bezel and features black Roman numerals with spade-shaped hour and minute hands and a thin sweep second hand. The dial is printed with the maker mark Waterford Crystal. The reverse contains a circular metal compartment cover with a radial sunburst pattern.
