A Pair of Antique Mother-of-Pearl and Brass Opera Glasses - A pair of antique opera glasses, dating from the late 19th to early 20th century. The instrument is constructed with a brass frame and silver-toned metal accents on the eyepieces and bridge components. The barrels are decorated with hand-fitted, segmented panels of iridescent mother-of-pearl. The glasses feature a central focusing mechanism operated by a knurled brass wheel. No maker's marks, inscriptions, or hallmarks are visible on the metalwork or the eyepieces.
