Two Vintage Tinplate Toys including a Clockwork Saloon Car and a Novelty Mouse - This lot comprises two vintage painted tinplate toys. The first item is a clockwork saloon car, designed in a 1930s style with a blue body and black mudguards. It is constructed from pressed tinplate and features a clockwork mechanism with a winding point on the passenger side. The second item is a novelty toy mouse, finished in a shiny black colour with pink painted ears and a flexible coiled wire tail. The mouse is similar in design to The Mysterious Wonder Mouse magic trick toy. It displays an impressed mark reading MADE IN on the rear side, although the specific country of origin is not clearly legible. A small V-shaped mark is also present on the upper back of the mouse.
