A Pair of Antique Adjustable Brass Powder and Shot Measures by Graham's - A pair of antique adjustable powder and shot measures, traditionally used for hand-loading shotgun cartridges during the late Victorian and Edwardian periods. Each measure consists of a cylindrical brass head mounted on a turned wooden handle. The smaller measure features a light-coloured wooden handle and a brass head stamped Graham's Powder. This measure includes a stepped adjustment notch with graduated markings for 1/4, 1/2, 3/4, and 1. The larger measure is fitted with a dark-stained wooden handle and a brass head with graduated markings for powder in drams (2, 2 1/4, 2 1/2, 2 3/4, and 3) and shot in ounces (1 1/8 and 1 1/4). Graham's was a recognised name in the United Kingdom shooting trade during the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Total length: 12.7 cm.
