Vintage Chinese Famille Rose Porcelain Ginger Jar and Cover - A Chinese porcelain ginger jar and cover of ovoid form, hand-painted in polychrome Famille Rose enamels on a white ground. The main body features a continuous narrative scene depicting two ladies and two young boys playing in a garden landscape with stylized rockwork, trees, and a fence. The shoulder is decorated with a collar of alternating pink and yellow ruyi heads, and the base is finished with a multi-coloured petal lappet border. The matching domed lid is similarly decorated with a single seated boy in a garden setting and a turquoise-ground border at the rim. No marks are visible as the base is not shown in the provided photographs. Height: 22.5 cm.
