The piece is constructed from cast metal with a stained wood pistol-style grip. The barrel features decorative turned rings and the frame is cast with scrollwork engraving on both side plates, each including a central panel with the word LONDON. It features a non-functional flintlock-style mechanism with a replica flint held in the cock. A red and gold adhesive manufacturer label is present on the right side of the barrel.
