The group contains powder compacts of various forms, including a gold-toned fan-shaped compact with engine-turned radiating ribs and a rectangular black-enamelled vanity case with a pinstripe border, connected by a chain to a cylindrical lipstick holder. Three circular compacts are identified as Stratton by markings on the internal powder puffs: one featuring a white porcelain lid with a rose and blue butterfly motif, another with a central rose bouquet on a textured background, and a third with a concentric engine-turned pattern. The lot also includes a large circular gold-toned compact with a lace-patterned engine-turned lid, a rectangular silver-toned case with raised floral relief, a circular scalloped-edge compact with a blue enamel lid and floral spray, and a simple gold-toned circular compact.
