A Mid-20th Century Ceramic Figural Alligator Nutcracker with Metallic Lustre Glaze - A two-piece ceramic figural nutcracker modelled in the form of an alligator. The piece is finished in a metallic gunmetal-tone lustre glaze with an iridescent quality. The construction features a lever-action mechanism where the upper jaw and head function as the lever, hinged to the lower body and tail which serve as the base.
