A Coral Mid-Century Modern Space Age Pedestal Alarm Clock - A Coral mid-century modern pedestal desk alarm clock, manufactured in Japan. The clock features an oval-shaped head with a chrome-plated front bezel and a cream-coloured plastic rear casing. The dial displays a vibrant blue-to-silver sunburst gradient and is set with applied rectangular baton hour markers in orange and silver tones. The central hands are finished with luminous inserts. The clock is supported by a flared trumpet-style chrome-plated metal pedestal base. The mechanical wind-up movement is marked as having two jewels. The dial is printed with the brand name Coral at the twelve o'clock position, 2 Jewels below the centre, and Japan at the lower edge.
