A Collection of Chinese Export Decorative Objects and Accessories including Lacquerware Cloisonné and Stoneware - An assortment of Chinese export decorative items comprising various materials including lacquer, stone, cloisonne enamel, porcelain, and clay. The collection includes a pair of marbled green exercise balls, commonly referred to as Baoding balls, housed in a red fabric presentation box. The interior lid features a printed label reading IRON BALL DIRECTION and the Chinese characters 鐵球說明書, transliterated as Tie qiu shuo ming shu, alongside a circular GS logo and a MADE IN CHINA mark. A rectangular dark red lacquer jewellery box is decorated with nacre inlay depicting a bird on a flowering branch, featuring a brass turtle-form clasp and a red fabric-lined interior with an inset mirror and ring compartments. A miniature terracotta-coloured clay tea set in the Yixing style consists of a teapot and two matching cups presented in a fitted box. Three handheld items are included: a large magnifying glass with a lotus motif metal frame and floral cloisonne enamel handle, a circular mirror with a light green stone handle and blue floral cloisonne reverse, and a rectangular mirror with a stone handle and a reverse painted portrait of a woman in traditional Chinese dress. Two black lacquer boxes are present: one rectangular with a raised landscape scene in gold-toned highlights, and one oval with shell inlay depicting a figure on a vessel. A small carved white elephant figurine, possibly soapstone or resin, and a porcelain vase with flared rim, twin handles, and gilt-accented panels depicting floral scenes complete the lot.
