Smiths Suntella Ornate Rococo Style Wall Clock - A Smiths Suntella wall clock featuring a heavy cast metal case with a decorative openwork border of foliate scrolls and acanthus motifs, finished in a bronze tone. The circular cream dial is printed with Smiths and Sectronic Battery at the centre, and Made in Great Britain at the bottom edge. The dial displays gold-tone Arabic numerals at the 12, 3, 6, and 9 positions, with tapered baton indices for the remaining hours and gold-tone hands set behind a convex lens. The original battery-powered movement has been replaced with a modern black plastic battery-operated quartz movement as seen on the reverse. Diameter: approximately 25.5 cm.
