Two Items of Memorabilia comprising a Framed 1948 London Palladium Royal Performance Supplement and a Nautical Knot Board Display Tray - A collection of two items of memorabilia consisting of a framed theatrical supplement and a nautical knot board display. The first item is a framed monochrome printed supplement from The Performer, dated 4 November 1948, commemorating the Royal Performance at the London Palladium in aid of the Variety Artistes' Benevolent Fund. The central montage features King George VI and Queen Elizabeth, surrounded by a roster of performers including a young Julie Andrews, Arthur Askey, Danny Kaye, Ted Ray, Charlie Chester, Ted Heath, and the Nicholas Brothers. A section titled Thanks for the Memory lists veteran variety stars including Nellie Wallace and Gertie Gitana. The second item is a decorative glazed nautical knot board fashioned as a wooden tray with carrying handles. It contains a series of hand-tied rope knots and miniature maritime models including an anchor, ship's wheel, binnacle, life buoy, and axe, each accompanied by an etched brass-toned identification plaque.
