A Silver Plated WWII Kriegsmarine Miniature Officer's Dagger Letter Opener - A WWII German Kriegsmarine miniature officer's dagger featuring a white spiral-grooved synthetic grip with twisted wire wrap. The hilt is constructed from cast metal with a crossguard featuring a central fouled anchor emblem on both sides, terminating in ribbed spherical quillon ends. The pommel is modelled as a Reichsadler eagle with outspread wings clutching a wreathed swastika. The dagger is fitted with a double-edged, unfullered steel blade and retains a red felt buffer at the throat. An attached white card tag bears the handwritten inscription WW2 German Kriegsmarine mini Dagger / letter opener. Total length: 24.1 cm Blade length: 15.9 cm.
