A Silver Victorian Open-Face Key-Wind Pocket Watch, Chester 1892 - A Victorian Silver open-face pocket watch featuring a white enamel dial with black Roman numeral hour markers and a subsidiary seconds dial at the 6 o'clock position. The timepiece is fitted with blued steel spade hour and minute hands under a domed mineral glass crystal. The manual key-wind and key-set movement is accessed through a hinged case back and internal dust cover, with the winding arbor visible through an aperture in the cover. The silver case features a coin-edged middle section and a circular suspension ring at the top. The interior of the case back and the dust cover bear legible marks including a lion passant, the Chester city mark, the date letter I for 1892, the serial number 286, and the mark L J F. Diameter: 5.1 cm.
