A Steel Ideal Brevete Mechanical Concertina Corkscrew - A late 19th-century steel mechanical concertina corkscrew featuring a multiple-lever lazy tong mechanism. The construction comprises a cylindrical T-handle connected to a series of crossed expanding levers, terminating in a bell-shaped bottle neck guide and a central helical worm. The central crossbar is stamped with the characters IDEAL and BREVETE. The frame retains remnants of an original nickel-plated finish over the base steel. Handle Width: 5 cm Length: 15 cm.
