A Glass and Metal Manual Blow Butter Churn - A vintage glass and metal manual butter churn featuring a square-section moulded glass jar. The front of the jar is embossed with text reading BLOW BUTTER CHURN, 3/20, MADE IN ENGLAND and 2 IMPERIAL QUARTS. The screw-top metal churning assembly comprises a gearbox housing cast with the name BLOW and a side-mounted crank handle with a dark-finished turned wooden grip. This mechanism operates a pair of bevel gears that rotate a central vertical shaft and a two-bladed metal paddle within the jar. Width: 10 cm Height: 30 cm.
